This is the transcription of a handwritten document that my cousin Jack (C
hester John) Berry has that is in the handwriting of our Grandfather, Jo
hn Edward Lyons. It was written in pencil when I read it with pages missi

My cousin, Lloyd Lyons says that John Lyons was born near Charleville on t
he southern border of Limerick in 1830. We do not have his birthdate.
The pioneer and founder of our Lyons family in the United States was Jo
hn Lyons, the father of John Edward Lyons, William P. Lyons, Thomas H. Lyo
