Amos Jackson did not make a satisfactory distribution
In Surrogate Glass's court this morning a contest was begun on the will of Amos Jackson, formerly a well-known and old resident of the Eleventh ward. Mr. Jackson left an estate valued at about $8,000 according to the inventory filed. Of this amout $8,500 was in real eastate. The bulk of the estate was left to his grandchildren: Amos Vrooman and Mrs. Brown. The widow, Mrs. Delia Jackson, was left $2000 a year in ? of dower by the terms of the will. She is not satisfied with this disposition of the estate. One hundred dollars was left a greatgrandchild, and he will enter protest to the probate of the will as well.
In court this morning, E. M. Wlls appeared as counsel for Mrs. Jackson and Ceylon H. Lewis for the executor of the willl, W. B. Crowley. The attorney for the constant was given till March ? in which to file his objections.
