  • ID: I45854
  • Name: Charles A. Billerbeck
  • Given Name: Charles A.
  • Surname: Billerbeck
  • Sex: M
  • _UID: 5A940A0CFC55154A852D14D497168D5DE56B
  • Change Date: 9 SEP 2011
  • Note:
The Maack family tree shows him named Karl Francis Billerbeck, and to b e a child of John Billerbeck and Wilhelmina Reineke, but I don't think t hat's true. He was not named as surviving Anna Billerbeck Snyder in he r obituary, nor John Billerbeck's obituary nor Wilhelmina (Reineke) Bil lerbeck's obituary. He is Charles Billerbeck on his parents' obituarie s, and I think that's his name and not Karl Francis.

His tombstone carver enscribed his name as Charles F. Billerbeck, but I d on't know if that middle initial is correct. I have it as Charles A. B illerbeck, and I think he could have been named after his ancestor Anto n. This tombstone carver carved his sister Josephine's husband's name a s Cibler instead of Gibler, on the same tombstone, so the "F" initial i s suspect to me at least. I can't find an obituary for him (as of Sept ember 5, 2011).
