He was united in marriage in 1854 to Miss Jennie Burns, who passed away six years ago, and the family went west in 1876, locating in Rockford, Ill. Eight years later Mr. Fonda removed to Colorado, and has made his home there since. The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon, July 12th, and the remains were interred there beside the grave in which the wife rests.
