Any relation to this man, a poet?:
Daniel Hayes was the son of a gentleman in the County of Limerick, who was brought up to the Law, and possessed a competent estate. He lost his father at the age of ten years, and meeting with but little restraint from his remaining parent, he indulged himself in some excesses, which were productive of much unhappiness in the latter part of his life. He received his education in the Diocesan School of Limerick, and in 1751 entered himself a Fellow Commoner in Trinity College Dublin. From the university he went to the Middle Temple to study the law, and died 20th of July 1767.
    Is this the poet?
