Died 6 July 1825, aged 72, according to her memorial slab.
Bizarrely, The New Monthly Magazine (Jan-Jun 1816) reported her death at Hampstead, aged 64 (which would indeed have been her age then.):
?At Hampstead, Mrs Hodgson, wife of Henry H. esq, one of his Majesty?s commissioners for the affairs of taxes, and eldest daughter of the late Jas. Lloyd Harris, esq. of the Morr. Herefordshire, 64.?
OR was the slab at Clapham wrong?
Why did she die at Hampstead? Is it coincidence that her husband?s aunt died at Hampstead 10 years earlier in 1815?
