Davenport monuments was the s of Richard de Davenport, had a grant of the Hereditary
Office of Master Serjeant of the Peace of Macclesfield from Ranulf Earl of Warwick c
1217-26, mentioned in various Pipe Rolls and Liberal Rolls, living subsequent to Feb
1254 and dec. by March, 1260, leaving issue,

Somerford Booths and had a grant of Rights in Somerford Mill from his nephew
Thomas de Davenport, had issue,

4a Peter, a witness to the grant of lands in Newton from Roger de Davenport to

his bro Roger on the death of Robert de Davenport without heirs.

I did have him marrying Beatrix, dau of Bertrand de Hulme, but it seems that this is (much repeated) mistake for his daughter Beatrix marrying Bertrand de Hulme?
