His dau Alice had a half-brother, "John son of John de Drieby," who married, by 18 July 1353, Elizabeth [b. 6 June 1338, d. 2 Oct. 1360], daughter and heir of Thomas Beler, alias Heriz, of Gonalston, co. Notts., but they died without issue, he before 1378.
