Norton late of Chichester, Alderman decd.) to Richard Page of the parish of St. Bartholomew without the West suburb of Chichester, carpenter, - for £75 - of All those two messuages, houses or tenements and two gardens belonging in the said parish of St. Bartholomew between the messuage or tenement sometime in the tenure of John Page and then in the occupation of Matthew Pearle, W. and the lane called Scuttery Lane, E.; which premises were then or late in the occupation of Thomas Kenton and Wm. Butler. One acre of land in a common field called Scuttery Field being excepted and reserved to the said Wm. Edmondes and his heirs.
