Only dau and heiress of father.
The second son of Sir Thomas Grosvenor, variously called Raufe, Rawlings, and Randal, married the
heiress of John de Eton, and by so doing, acquired the Eaton estates, which have remained in the hands of his successors to this day.
Joan's name was de Manleigh, so to speak, as she was Joan de Manleigh, sole daughter of John de Manleigh and Elen de Eton, who was, in turn, sole daughter of John de Eton (Eaton). Joan married Ranulf le Grosvenor, esq., lord of Eton March 9, 1446, second son and finally heir.
A complete pedigree can be had in the history of Cheshire by George Ormerod.
