  • Suffix: KG
  • Prefix: Sir
  • Sex: M
  • Death: 13 FEB 1455 in St. Alban?s, Herts
  • Burial: Battle Abbey, Sussex

  • BATT: St. Alban?s 1455 (killed before the battle?)

  • Note: 2 3 4

It is said (although many sources don?t mention it) that he died at the battle of St. Alban?s. If the death date of 13 Feb is right, he actually died just before the battle, which was on 17 Feb. 13 Feb was when Warwick arrived with his forces.

?Roger Copley, citizen and mercer, who married a. daughter of Lord Hoo and Hastings (killed at St. Alb"* in 1455), coming down to the early part ...?
    ---
?The effigies on the tomb of Thomas Fiennes, Lord Dacre, (d 1533) and his son Sir Thomas Fiennes may in fact represent Thomas Lord Hood ( d 1455) and Sir Thomas Hoo (d 1486).?Bought at the sale of Battle Abbey.
    ---
Letters of Thomas Copley seems to say that it is his tomb in Horsham church, Sussex, but in fact that seems to be a Thomas Hoo of Roffey.
