    Humphrye married Griselda, daughter of Ralph de Marcy, and he inherited in her right the Manor of Kelvendon with lands there. This Ralph de Marcy had lands also at Hatfield, as it is stated in Doomsday Boom, that half a hide of land had been recovered, formerly held by a Socman under Earl Harold, but which Ralph de Marcy then held.
