His daughter & heiress married Thomas Fairfax of York who was dead 1261 by whom she had a son John Fairfax who was living at Walton 1302.
John de Sezevaux, one of the Representatives for the city of York, 28th of Edward I.  was of Thixendale (in the parish of Wharram Percy, and wapentake of Buckrose; 9 miles N. of Pocklington), and to whose name Drake, p. 35b, annexes the following note: De Sezevaux, or de sexdecem vallibus, is the town on the Wolds, now called Thixendale; corruptedly no doubt from sixteen dales, which the place is remarkable for."
