    Thomas conveyed the manor of Didcot to Thomas Chaucer and other feoffees in 1417 and died in 1430. To him succeeded Thomas his son, whose widow Joan held Didcot for life. She survived William son and heir of Thomas Stonor, whose only son John died in infancy. Didcot had been settled in tail-male and passed to Sir Walter Stonor, kt. (d 8 January 1550?1) son of Thomas, brother of William Stonor.
    Owner of thirty-one manors; Sheriff for Oxfordshire and Berkshire; Knight of the Shire in Parliament; Member of Parliament for Oxfordshire; Commissioner for the Peace in Oxfordshire; served in the War in France 1419-1420.
