    Nelson Notes - It is rumored that Mr. William Hoyt, of Farmington, has sold his farm and bought the Nathan Spencer farm in this town.

    Know ye that William Hoyt a private of Captain R T Wood Company, U 207th Regiment of Pennsylvania Volunteer who was enrolled on the first day of September one thousand eight hundred and sixty-four to serve one years or during the warm is hereby discharged from the service of the United States this Thirtyfirst day of May, 1865, at Alexandria, Va. by order of War Dept May 14th & 18th 1865

He served nine months in the 207th Pa.
