James Wroth Sr. of Kent Co To my son James Wroth all the land I now live upon 100 acres of the "Forest of Dean" and 120 acres of "Warner's Levels". To my son William Wroth 50 acres of land called "Town's Relief" and to be in his mother's possession until he arrives at age. To my dau. Elizabeth Wroth my negro woman Dinah and to my son William Wroth my negro lad Joseph and to remain in their mother's care and for her use until they arrive at age. My son James Wroth to build a brick house 30' x 18' with 2 fireplaces and 2 rooms on a floor at his own expense on the 50 acres of "Town's Relief" given to my son William Wroth and James to pay my wife Ann Wroth £15 annually for 12 years for the schooling of my two children Elizabeth and William Wroth and for my wife to have a home where she now lives until such time as the aforementioned building is finished. If she does not take the 50 acres as her full 1/3 then the 50 acres and 2 negroes are void. If James refuses to build the house at his own expense then the 120 acres to be given to William Wroth in lieu of the 50 acres. To my wife 2 horses, 2 cows, and 6 hogs, and a feather bed and furniture, one table, and the remainder of my personal estate to all my children with my wife holding the share of the 2 youngest children Exec. my son James Wroth.
