Kalendar of Gwyedd:- "John Manners Kerr, of Plas Issa Esq. High Sheriff of Merionethshire 1 February 1838-9, 1&2 Victoria". The property of Plas Issa in Edeirnion, he inherited under the Will of his 2nd wife, and he sold the estate to Colonel Vaughan of Rug.

Maesmor Hall is on a site dating from the 13th cent, there is an old Castle Mound at the site, not sure when current building dates from.
Maesmor Hall was owned by the same family continuously (with switches into female lines) since 13th cent,?surname eventually became "Maesmor" in 16th cent, it passed by marriage from the last Maesmor to Peter Maurice est c.1718, then passed by marriage to Edward Lloyd est c.1775, living there by 1776-7, then passed by marriage to John Manners Kerr 1829, the date "1830" is on the front of the present building, ?John Manners Kerr certainly living there as at 1841, his widow died there 1859, her sisters, elderly unmarried Lloyds, lived there, last one died 1872, ?Kerrs lived there until at least 1904, owned by same family for 700 years.?Now a guesthouse.
