Frank moved with his family in the fall of 1918 to Los Angeles, CA. They went to San Diego , CA for a year, and in 1920 they returned to Los Angeles. Frank graduated in 1935 from th e University of Southern California with a Physical Education major. Frank taught as severa l high schools and began at Los Angeles City College in 1938. He coached championship team s in wrestling and gymnastics, and taught health and surveying.

In 1940 Frank was a physical education teacher at a Jr. College residing at 1738 Manhattan Av enue, Hermosa Beach with wife Pauline and sons Dale and Kenneth. Soon after he built a home a t 2104 Monterey Blvd., Hermosa Beach. Lather he built a home at 836 Third Street, Manhattan B each.
Frank was a summer ranger in Yosemite National Park. He later bought a cabin at Bass Lake, Ma dera Co., CA. Frank retired in 1973. Frank and Pauline lived in Manhattan Beach, and spent t heir summers at the family cabin at Bass Lake. Frank was a master trout fisherman. Canast a was one of their favorite pastimes.
