He also reported that William Augustus Hayden was the boy in that class who stood first on the list at the Christmas Examination and he could give him the recommendations necessary for the scholarship.
    On the motion of Mr Clarke, seconded by Mr. G. Wheeler, it was decided to give the lad named the foundation.
