David Madison KEITH was the only child of William and Celia WISE Keith. S he died right after the 1900 Census, perhaps in childbirth? William KEI TH was remarried by the 1910 Census.
About Okaloosa County, Florida :: Okaloosa County was formed in 1915 fr om parts of Santa Rosa and Walton Counties. The county seat was original ly Milligan (1915-1917). Later it was moved to Crestview because of the po ssibility of flooding in Milligan. Since this is a relatively new count y, most people are looking for relatives in the parent counties, howeve r, there are great resources in Okaloosa for anyone doing research in t he Panhandle. Don't forget to look in all the surrounding counties.
