    BIOGRAPHY: Imigrated from England to VA with wife Mary. Then imigrated fr om VA to TN through North Carolina with sons James, Sanford, Absalom and d aughter Delilah Ann.     The Allen Clan settled in Sevier County, TN and established themselv es as landowners near the settlement of Fair Garden in the foothills of t he Great Smoky Mountains. At one time, the clan owned in excess of 2000 ac res of land. An Allen Family Cemetery exists just outside Seviervill e, TN and up to the year 2000, two of the old home place houses were sti ll standing and were for sale.     NAME: Most Allin/Allen peoples came from the Clan McDonald of Clarranae ld in Northwest Scotland. Some came from Clan McFareland, and some came fr om the region of Perth along the Allen River.

    A little about the town of Warrington in England:
    Warrington is a large town and borough in North West England, between Manc hester and Liverpool. It was traditionally in Lancashire, but was transfer red to Cheshire in 1974. Since April 1, 1998 it has been an independent un itary authority.
