Text from documents sworn in Ireland to the truthful identity ofJames Hartnett Wolfe's brothers - Richard and John. Parts ofthese letters are missing. Spelling of names and places aredifficult to read.
*Patrick Maurice Wolfe could be the brother of James, Richardand John Wolfe. We know he remained in Co. Limerick, Ireland. Inorder to claim James Wolfe's estate in Missouri it is probablethat Richard and John wrote to Patrick to obtain these documentsattesting to their relationship to James Hartnett Wolfe It isinteresting that we have documents from both a Catholic Priestand a Protestant Curate of County Limerick.
