His sponsors were Philip Rupp a citizen and (occupation) of Oberhoffen, Jörg Heinrich Rupp, son the the deceased Daniel Rupp of Steinseltz, and Dorothea (surname), daughter of the deceased Jacob (surname) of Oberhoffen. He was given the name Jörg Heinrich.

    Note: Daniel Rupp was the uncle of Johann Jacob Rupp.
