This is an assumption on my part. Her son Henry may have moved to Tennessee between 1840-1843 (1850 census has him living in Grainger County, Tennessee) and it is possible that she returned to Montgomery County as she left her mark on a deed there in 1851. She is mentioned as "Elizabeth Cumpton" in a deed dated 14th day of June 1851 with her siblings John, Henry, Polly and Nancy Roop one part and Jacob Roop of the other part.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Elizabeth was NOT married to any of the following men: William Elkins, Emery Akers, Bird Akers. These are assumptions made by earlier researchers and are reflected in several online gedcom files.
