John Hornibrook of Corran House
I John Hornibrook of Corran house in the county of Cork, esquire, do hereby revoke every former and other will made by me, and publish and declare this to be my last will.
I give and devise and in pursuance of every power, limit and appoint the lands of Corran in the county of Cork, containing about three hundred and twenty-three acres, statute measure, or thereabouts, and all and every other lands, tenements and hereditaments of or to which I am seized or entitled at law or in equity unto my son John Thomas Hornibrook, his heirs and assigns forever.
And whereas, I have already provided for my two daughters, Ellen Gillman Beecher (sic), and Sophia Jane Lane, I do hereby leave, bequeath and direct, and appoint that they shall receive the sume of one shilling each, and no more. Such sum of one shilling to be payable to each of them respectively out of such of my Estates and property as are subject to any power of appointment by me amongst my said children.
I give and bequeath to my Wife, Mary Hornibrook, all my household furniture, plate, linen, wines, liquors, debts due to me upon Bond or simple contract, all arrears of rent due to me, all ready money in my house or to my credit in any Bank at the time of my death, and such one carriage or vehicle and set of harness or such one horse of which I shall then be possessed as she may choose, subject, however, to the payment of all my just debts and funeral and testamentary expenses.
And subject, as last aforesaid, I give and bequeath to my said son, John Thomas Hornibrook, absolutely all my cattle, cows, horses, pigs, sheep, corn, hay and agricultural implements and produce of all kinds and all other property of a like nature, used therewith or belonging thereto, being on the said lands of Corran or upon any other lands of or to which I may be seized or entitled at the time of my decease.
AND I give and bequeath to my said wife, all the residue of my personal estate not specifically bequeathed. And I appoint her and Samuel Wood of Bandon in the County of Cork, Esquire, M B, Executrix and Executor of this Will.
In Witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand this ninth day of December in the year of Our Lord One thousand eight hundred and sixty-three.
Signed, published and declared by the Testator, John Hornibrook, as and for his Last Will and Testament, in the presence of us, being present at the same time, who, at his request, in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as Witnesses.

Be it known that on the twenty-fourth day of September 1868, the last Will and Testament hereunto annexed of John Hornibrook, late of Corran House in the County of Cork, Esquire, deceased, who die don the 5th day of September 1868 at Scilly, near Kinsale, in said County, and had at the time of his death a fixed place of abode at Corran House aforesaid, with the said District of Cork, was proved and registered in the said District Registry of Cork, attached to Her Majesty's Court of Probate. And that the administration of all and singular the said personal estate and effects of the said deceased was granted by the aforesaid Court to Mary Hornibrook of Corran House (Innoshannon) aforesaid Widow of deceased, One of the Executors named in the said Will. She having been first sworn well and faithfully to administer the same by paying the just debts of the deceased and the legacies contained in his Will so far as she is thereunto bound by law. And to exhibit a true and perfect Inventory of all and singular the said estate. and effects and to render a just and true account thereof whenever required by law so to do, power being reserved of making a like grant to Samuel Wood, Esquire, M B, the other Executor named in said Will when he shall apply for the same.
