Jason: I have written a book about the Lavender family. You mention two daughters of Joseph and Milley. I have a third, Milley Ballew (born 1797), who married, in 1821, Samuel Anderson in Burke County, NC. Joseph and Milley had a son, Joseph (born after 1800). There were three other daughters and there may have been another son.

Lucy Ballow Lavender is very important to my manuscript since she was the first of the Charles and Elizabeth Lavender line to settle in Georgia, removing from Spartanburg District, SC in 1822 with her youngest son, Charles. On Sunday, July 13, I may attend homecoming at the church where Lucy was buried. We believe Charles and his wife, Teresa, were also buried there.
