    ============================

    The first tract of land owned by John Booe is identified as being onthe Pinchback Farm. Also in November 1774, John Pinchback received a license to operate anordinary or tavern. There is evidence that would state that John Booe operatedBurnt Tavern. Pinchback Tavern probably came to be known as Burnt Tavern for obvious reasons. There is also evidence that states John Calhoun Booe, son of John & Elizabeth Chestire Booe, was born in this Tavern.
