    I noted in your ancestry database on www.ancestry.com a reference toMartha Jane Young, born 1844, daughter of William and Lucinda (Peterson)Young, who you claim married James Hulit (see below). Martha Jane (or"Mattie" as she was called) Young immigrated to California in 1869 as aschool teacher, where she met and married Samuel McConnell Shearer. Theyare my great-grandparents.

    Could you please correct your database and remove Martha Jane Young'smarriage to James Harrison Hulit? Thanks! You're welcome to show hermarriage to Samuel McConnell Shearer.

    I might add that Martha Jane Young's maternal grandfather was definitelyConrad Peterson, not Conrad Hardenbroeck Peterson. Likewise, Conrad'sfather was Thomas Peterson, not Thomas Pittinger Peterson.
