    probably Abel Withey who got indexed as Cibel Withey (when you write it
    out one could easily be mistaken for the other) p. 49, Mentz, Cayuga Co.
    NY --but I still need to get that record. -
    male 26-45 = b. 1794-1806 = Abel age 30

    9. He appeared on the census in 1830 in Mentz,Cayuga Co.,NY. Abel Withey

    male age 30-40--consistent w/Abel, who was b. ca. 1790, but no
    Elizabeth, b. 1792 and therefore age 38, is not indicate

    2 males age 20-30 and 1 female age 20-30 -- don't know

    1 male age 15-20 and 1 female age 15-20 --the female pr. Fidelia, the
    male could be Porter, or Porter could be the male age 10-15. In either
    case, it leaves us with an unaccounted for male.

    1 male age 10-15 and 1 female age 10-15 -- the female would be Hannah and
    the male either unknown, or Porter and the male above is unknow

    Birth Notes (Husband)
    ================================================================================

    age at death 46-0-12, which places his birth as late March, not Feb., but I
    must have this exact date from somewhere. -- I got it from an age at death of
    46-1-12. Obviously there is a mistranscription somewhere, but I need to figure
    out where. '

    At any rate, a Feb or March 1790 birthdate is problematic, if we are to place
    him as a son of Ephraim, for known son Elias born Sept. 1790. I still think
    these two are brothers, sons of Ephraim.

    ================================================================================
    General Notes (Husband)
    ================================================================================

    pr. he was born in Washington Co. NY

    I have a note page from the Cayuga Co. Historian's office, pr. done by Doreen.

    cemetery record for Elvira Hannah indicates she is day of A.B. Wethey

    ================================================================================

    She is not named in her father's estate settlement, but her son Oliver P. Buck
    is. and her cemetery record specifies she is "dau"

    ================================================================================
    General Notes for Child Porter P. Ep3 Wethey
    ================================================================================

    Obviously there is a problem. If he married Mary in 1837 and she died in 1889,
    how did he marry Sarah in 1840? This needs further work.

    Surname is Wethey or Withey

    ================================================================================
    Death Notes for Child: Hannah Elvira Ep3 Wethey

    General Notes for Child Octavius Ep3 S. Withey

    ================================================================================

    This is probably her burial, then: Ivison,Harriet W 05/05/1916 Alban

    ================================================================================
    General Notes for Child Harriet Ep3 M. Wethey
    ================================================================================

    The marriage of Harriett M. is in St. Peter's Church Records (Cayuga C. NY) but
    I've not yet looked at the records. The card file does not identify her as the
    dau of Able. I still need to confirm this, but I have no other Harriet that
    would fit, so at the moment I am fitting her here.

    When her husband died, he had taken Harriet to vist her mother near Port Byron.
    This would have been in 1854.
