    Hi,

    My name is Jeff Schoonover, the grandson of Florence C. Penney (ID:
    I1265) appearing in your ancestry.com genealogy. Since you give a bit of
    the life of my father, I thought it would be appropriate that more
    complete information be provided. Attached is some of the vitals on
    Penney, her husband and her two children, including my father. Please,
    if I can be any help or the attached file does not open correctly, just
    drop me a line. I would love to help.

    2006 nov 6 Virginia Childers Hanks aged 83 recalled that Aunt Florence had
    married a man surnamed Cotton, had a son named Jack Cotton. But Florence had
    such a post-partum psychosis that Jack had to be raised by a grandma.
    Florence went to mental hospital at Steilacoom WA. There she stabilized enough
    to work some job without disruptive psychotic turmoil. But if anyone mentioned
    her baby it made her meaner and less stable. She never saw her son, and
    resented it during World War 2 when someone sent her a picture of her son in
    military uniform. To Florence, Jack was eternally a baby. And she was nasty in
    the few times she was presented with evidence otherwise;
    ------------------------------------------------------------
    Virginia said the Schoonover grandparents of her husband lived on a ranch near
    Wapato WA; whereas the Penney great-grandparents lived at Naches WA, both in
    Yakima County WA;
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Virginia explained that she DIDN'T compile much about Penney family because her
    husband didn't seem as interested in those kinfolks of his. Evidently Penney
    family didn't seem as friendly to him/them, as other kin whom they enjoyed?
    Your compiler Forsythe explains that he DID compile Alfred Penney b. 1841
    family group as it was comparatively neglected, amid other good kin compilation
