Patrick Turbidy wwas born in Domelihy which is three miles west of Coorclare. He was born in 1838 and emigrated to Australia about 1860 where he farmed with a brother of his near Ballerate near Melborne.
When Patrick returned for a holiday, his mother asked him to remain in Ireland which he did. He purchased a farm in Ballykett, just outside of Kilrush, building both new house and barns.
Sinean Neenan son of Ann Kelly and John Neenan and Patrick Kelly, Jane Kelly's brother worked on the Balleykett Farm.
On the burial vault in the Drumelliy burial ground in County Clare is this this inscription. "Conor Turbridy wife Bridget both died 1887. Their son Patrick of Balleykett who erected this vault died 1918 and his wife Jane died 1912 and their three daughters who died in infancy and their brother-in-law, Patrick Kelly died in 1936."
