    Adaopted by his maternal grandfather, William Gibbs McAdoo. His name was originally Ricardo Lopez de Onate.

    Deceased Name: RICHARD F. McADOO
    Richard F. McAdoo, 57, a Washington management consultant who had been president of Capital Association Consultants of Washington for the last 2 1/2 years, died of cancer April 27 at Georgetown University Medical Center.
    Mr. McAdoo, who lived in Washington, was born in Vienna, Austria, and grew up in Southern California. He graduated from the University of Southern California and had done graduate study in communications and public relations at American University.
    He came to this area in the late 1960s from California. In this area he had been director of government relations for Security Pacific Corp., director of Washington affairs for the Construction Manufacturers Association, director of marketing for the National Association of Business and Educational Radio, and director of communications and marketing for the National Association of Tobacco Distributors.
    While serving as president of Capital Association Consultants of Washington, Mr. McAdoo also had been a senior partner in Tecker Consultants, of New Jersey.
    He was a trainer and seminar leader and he had written articles on association management issues.
    His marriages to Johan Hirth Askwitz, Betsy Angene and Stephanie Smith ended in divorce.
    Survivors include a daughter from his first marriage, Lianne Mascuch of Berkeley, Calif.; a son from his second marriage, Scott Gibbs of Miami; and his mother, Doris McAdoo of South Pasadena, Calif.
