Notes
a. Note:   Ray's was a breech birth and so, unlike his sister and brother, he was born in the St. Catharine's General Hospital.
He was an athletic person who loved to swim, ride bikes and keep active. He was tall and slim for most of his life until the prednisone he was taking in his 70s and 80s for fibromyalgia caused him to gain weight.
One of Ray's hobbies was photography. As a teenager, he would often ride over to the States and trade in his present camera for a new one. His first camera cost $1.00.
Ray's father was born in Michigan and in 1937 Ray and his family drove there for a vacation. Ray's father had a 1936 Plymouth and Glen drove it on that trip. It heated up so much that they had to stop at every service station to fill up the radiator. Finally in Detroit they had it flushed out and after that the car ran well. In Flint they met a male relative who had a good job at Ford. Another relative (a woman) was manager of Post Cereal (probably in Battle Creek?). Ray also remembers visiting Cascade Falls.
