Note: Anne's Will: I, Anne Allnutt of New Street in the Parish of Lambeth in the County of Surrey, Singlewoman, being weak in body but of sound and disposing mind, memory and understanding do make, publish and declare this to be my last will and testament in manner and form following: that is to say I desire to be buried in a decent and respectable manner and that all my just debts, funeral and testamentary expenses may be paid and satisfied and after payment thereof, I give and bequeath to Henry Allnutt, son of my brother Henry, the sum of three hundred pounds three per cent consols now in standing my name in the Bank of England; to Catherine Bailey, late Catherine Allnutt, daughter of my brother Henry, the like sum of three hundred pounds three percent consols; to William Allnutt, the other son of my said brother Henry, the like sum of three hundred pounds three per cent consols; also I leave and bequeath unto my nephew Henry Allnutt, son of my brother Zachary Allnutt, the sum of three hundred pounds in the three per cent consols; also I give and bequeath unto my niece Ellen Allnutt, daughter of my brother Zachary, the like sum of three hundred pounds in the three per cent consols and also I give and bequeath to my nephew Zachary Allnutt, son of my brother Zachary, the like sum of three hundred pounds three per cent consols; the above legacies to be paid when they arrive at the age of twenty one years and in the meantime the interest to be applied for their education still as it becomes due and is received by my executor as hereinafter named. Also I give and bequeath to John Allnutt, the son or reputed son of my brother John, ten of my Thames Navigation Bonds, the interest thereof to be received still as it becomes due by his father John Allnutt and to be applied to the use of himself and Eliza his wife untill my said nephew arrives at the age of twenty one years and then I give and bequeath the interest and the said ten Navigation Bonds to my nephew John Allnutt. Also I give and bequeath to Eliza, the wife of my said brother John, the remaining one of my said Thames Navigation Bond for her own sole use and benefit and not to be at the disposal of her present or future husband but at her disposal. Also I give to the said Eliza Allnutt all the wearing apparol I may die possessed of. Also I give to the servant that may be living with me at my decease the sum of five pounds to buy her mourning. And in case of the decease of any or either of my nephews or nieces namely Henry Allnutt junior, Catherine Bailey, William Allnutt, Henry the son of Zachary, Ellen or Zachary Allnutt before either of their legacies becomes due or payable, then and in that case I do give and bequeath the share of that deceased to be equally divided, share and share alike amongst the survivors and also in case of the decease of my brother John or their son John before any or either of their legacies becomes due or payable then and in that case I do give and bequeath the same to Eliza the wife of my brother John and also in case of the decease of my brother John Allnutt, the executor hereinafter named, before I depert this life, then and in that case I do hereby appoint Eliza, the wife of John Allnutt full and sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament. And as to all the Rest Residue and Remainder of my Goods, Chattels, debts, stock or money in the public funds or other securities for money, plate and all my ready money, personal Estate and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever I do give and bequeath the same unto my brother John Allnutt and I direct that the several legacy duties chargeable upon the several legacies be paid by the several legatees and do appoint the said John Allnutt full and sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking and making void all former and other wills by me made. In witness whereof I have hereto set my hand and seal the fifth day of May one thousand eight hundred and thirtytwo. -- Anne Allnutt (S:S:) -- Signed sealed publish and declared by the said Anne Allnutt the testatrix as and for her last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in her presence and at her request and in the presence and sight of each other have subscribed our names as Witnesses hereto --Ja Coulthred, Surgeon, 4 Molton Terrace, Southwark, Bridge Rd --Ann Rayden -- R. Drew, Mitre Street. I Anne Allnutt do make this codicil to my Will as follows: I have left legacies of three hundred pounds three per cent consols to each of my six nephews and nieces namely three hundred to Henry son of my brother Henry, three hundred to William son of my said brother, three hundred to Mrs. Bailey daughter of my said brother, three hundred to Henry son of my brother Zachary, three hundred to Zachary son of my said brother, three hundred to Ellen daughter of my said brother. I do hereby revoke, annul and make void all the above legacies and bequests and in lieu and stead thereof do give and bequeath to each of my said nephews and nieces one hundred and fifty pounds sterling. Each and in all other respects do hereby ratify and confirm my said will witness whereof I have hereto set my hand and seal this fifth day of June one thousand eight hundred and thirty two -- Anne Allnutt (S:S:) -- signed sealed and delivered as a codicil to my said last Will and Testament in the presence of us who have subscribed our names as witnesses hereto -- Ja Coulthred, Surgeon, 4 Molton Terrace, Southwark, Bridge Rd. -- R. Drew Ann Rayden. Proved at London with a Codicil 21st August 1832 before the Worpl (Worshipful?) John Danbary Doctor of Laws and Surrogate by the oath of John Allnutt the brother the sole Executor to whom adm?? was granted having been first sworn duly to administor.
