Note: There is a possibility that William lived in Beaver County, Pennsylvania at some time while he was growing up.
The Roberts family had moved from Fairfield Co in Ohio to Bloom Twp in Seneca Co when the 1830 census was taken. And the census was taken before Jacob was born in September because there are 4 young children listed - 3 boys and 1 girl: I am assuming that would be Daniel, Isaac, Elisha and Margaret.
