Note: Bruce's son Wesley remembers Bruce telling him that Bruce's family moved from Abbotsford, QC to the L'Orignal/Vankleek Hill area in Ontario when Bruce was 10 (abt 1920). From The Montreal Gazette, Fri, Sep 1, 1989: ALLNUTT, Bruce, in Ottawa General Hospital on Thursday, August 31, 1989, Bruce Allnutt of RR1, Maxwell, Ontario, aged seventy-nine years, beloved husband of Margaret Hooper, dear father of Wesley (Gaetane) of West Brome, Quebec, Janice (Reverend Howard Hawes), Montreal, Ann (Bruce Sargent), St. Albert, Alberta and Peter of Montreal. Also survived by two brothers, George Raymond of St. Bruno and Albert of St. Laurent and two sisters, Marion of Montreal and Mildred of Toronto, nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Predeceased by two sisters, Grace and Winnifred. Resting at Munro Funeral Home, Maxville, Ontario, where a funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 2 at 2 p.m. Interment Maxwell Cemetery. The family will be in attendance on Friday from 7 p.m. - 10 p.m. and on Saturday from 1 p.m. until time of service. Memorial donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Society would be appreciated by the family.
