a. Note:   According to the record in the England and Wales Civil Registration, Vol 2a, page 251, March quarter, she was born in 1871. A birth certificate was then obtained.
  In 1887 Annie was apprenticed to a draper.
 On 25 Sept 1897 Annie travelled from Southampton to New York City.
 On 21 Feb 1900 Annie left from Liverpool to go to Sierra Leone aboard the S.S. Jebba. Did she meet her future husband and marry him overseas?
 Annie visited the United States in 1935. She arrived in New York aboard the S.S. Berengaria on September 17th. F. J. Allnutt was listed as a friend. This would be her brother Fred who lived in Colorado. Was she going to visit him? Her address is listed as Redhill, England, she was a widow aged 64 and a nurse.
  According to 1837online, Annie died in the June quarter of 1959 in Eastbourne, England. Vol 5h, p 207.
