Note: The Late Mrs. Allnutt - An Appreciation by the Very Rev. Peter Bryce, D.D. "It is not my custom to say many words on such a sacred occasion. I cannot forbear, however, from saying just a few words for I am here not only as Mrs. Allnutt's minister, but also as her friend. I had the privilege of taking part in her wedding, and entering into her happiness, and every year since then on the anniversary of her marriage Mrs. Bryce and I have entered Mr. and Mrs. Allnutt's home for dinner. I am glad this service of remembrance is being held in the Metropolitan Church. Her two chief interests in life lay in the church and in her home. Here she was present every Sunday
