a. Note:   Benjamin Maynard�s parents have yet to be discovered. We know he was living in Wake Co., NC in the early 1800s and died there in 1808. I have not yet identified any siblings of his either. There were five Maynard families living in Hillsborough�s District of Wake County in 1800.

  Benjamin Maynard and Hannah Reavis seems to have been born between 1755 and 1775 based on the 1800 Census of Wake County, NC. On Census, Page 750, Line No. 946, Benjamin Maynard is listed in age group between 25 and under 45. With him is 1 male under 10, 1 male 10-16, and 1 female 26-45.
  In March 1800-Benjamin is appointed overseer for road repairs in Wake Co. NC ("Wake Co. Court Minutes, 1797-1800, Book IV, pg. 120, by Wenette Parks Haun")
  On 31 March and 1 April 1800, Benjamin Maynard is a buyer at Samuel Holding, Sr. estate sale in Wake Co. NC ("Abstracts of Wills, Inventories, Settlements of Estates 1771-1802, Wake Co. NC, pg. 2123 by Frances Holloway Wynne")
  On 2 October 1800, Benjamin Maynard is a buyer at Zacharias Thompson estate sale in Wake Co. NC (Ibid pg. 228)

  In May 1808, Hannah Maynard, widow and relict of Benjamin Maynard relinquished estate administration to Robert Crenshaw.
