 MRS. SARAH HATHORN RANKIN
 Mrs. Sarah Hathorn Rankin, wife of T. W. Rankin, died yesterday afternoon
 at 5:20 o'clock at the family residence, 521 Johnson avenue. Mrs. Rankin
 was 73 years of age and had been a resident of Macon practically all her
 life, her death bringing sadness to many persons throughout the city.
  Besides her husband, she leaves five sons -- G. P., T. J., B. M., J. A.
 and T. C. Rankin; five daughters -- Misses Issie and Minnie Rankin, Mrs.
 William Roberts, Mrs. Robert Dean and Mrs. W. C. Bryant, all of Macon; one
 brother, W. N. Hathorn, of Atlanta, and thirteen grandchildren.
  Mrs. Rankin was a member of Centenary Methodist church.
  The funeral will be held from the residence this (Friday) afternoon at 3
 o'clock. The interment will be at Riverside. The sons and grandsons will
 act as pallbearers.

 The funeral of Mrs. T. W. Rankin was held yesterday afternoon at 3 o�clock from the residence, 521 Johnson avenue, with Rev. W. M. Blitch, pastor of Centenary Methodist Church, officiating. The interment was in Riverside cemetery. Sons and grandsons of Mrs. Rankin acted as pallbearers.
 The service was attended by a large gathering of friends, many of whom had been associated with Mrs. Rankin in the work of Centenary Methodist church, of which she had been a member for many years. Beautiful floral tributes attested the high esteem in which she was held.
