a. Note:   Some reports say her maiden name was Brannon or Brannan. She must have remarried after the death of her first husband, David Snodgrass. She is listed in the 1880 Census as a widow. She was married to an unknown Lindsey, as that is how she appears on the later Census records living with her son David H. Snodgrass and on her grave marker at the Snodgrass Cemetery.
