 George Washington Harkrider was married to Louisa (Lou) Lasater, daughter of Edna Traylor Lasater and James M. Lasater, on 15 Dec 1892. They were married in the home of Bill Allison and wife, Ann Allison. Ann Allison was an aunt of George Harkrider. His mother gave him a 98-acre tract of land off their home place, and in 1901, he bought the Allison home place where he and his wife were married, and his children still own the lands. He and his wife had four children, Eva Anna, who died when about 20 years of age, Edna, never married, Connie, who married Arthur D. Anderson, and John. Edna and Caroline live in their father and mother�s old home, and John lives on the adjoining tract of land. After the death of George Washington Harkrider, his widow married Sherman Calloway. They had no children. Both she and Sherman Calloway are deceased.
