a. Note:   CORFU, March 15-Mrs. Julia Reed, aged 83 years, widow of Andrew Reed, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. William H. Norton, at 12:10
 o'clock this morning after an illness of 1-1/2 years.
 Mrs. Reed, who before her marriage was Julia Tinkham, was born in Bethany on February 29, 1821. After her marriage, she lived in
 Wisconsin almost 10 years, then coming to his place where she lived
 fifty years on a farm north of this village and three years in Corfu.
 About 1-1/2 years ago she suffered a stroke of paralysis, from which
 she never fully recovered. This was followed by a second, and a third,
 which occurred last evening. She is survived by three children, Mrs.
 Norton and O. W. Reed, both of this place, and Menzo Reed of Niobrara,
 Neb.: a sister, Mrs. Lydia Ford of Rockford, Ill., and a brother,
 Adam Tinkham of Nevada.
 For fifty years Mrs. Reed had been a member of the Methodist church and was an active worker in religious causes. Her warm, genial
 disposition won her a host of friends who will mourn her death.

 Service Will be Held at Mrs. Norton's in Corfu Tomorrow Afternoon
  CORFU, March 17-The funeral of the late Mrs. Julia Reed will be held
 from the home of her daughter, Mrs. William Norton, tomorrow afternoon
 at 2 o'clock. The interment will be in Evergreen Hill cemetery.
