a. Note:   BIOGRAPHY: Paul Venson Taylor was a World War II Veteran. He was in the Tank Division of the U.S. Army. On June 6, 1944, Paul served in the Invasion Of Normandy at Utah Beach. From Normandy, his tank unit went on to help to free Paris from German occupation and on into Germany where his tank was hit by enemy fire as they tried to free a German prison camp. Paul worked for Roadway Express Trucking Company for 38 years and was a avid member of the International Teamsters Union. Paul's greatest hobby in life was racing. He, along with his son Ron, raced go-karts. He was a member of the Thunderbird GO-Kart Club and the Michigan Kart Club. Paul loved Blue-Grass music! During the winter, Paul ice fished the Great Lakes. Paul was a wonderful father and husband. His heart never left his roots of Tennessee and North Carolina where he frequently visited. His wife's birthplace of Menifee County Kentucky became his second home. He is missed by all his friends and family!
