Note: Eugene Jean was the eldest of three brothers who emigrated from Luxembourg, Belgium to Canada (1887) Bruxelles Man settling on SW 15-6-12. His first wife
was Catherine Lamare. They had three children: Pauline, Marcel, and Lucienne.
On 23 January, 1893, he wed Alexandrine, daughter of Remi Nicolas and Melanie
Laurent (recorded in Bruxelles, MB). In 1897 a brass band was organized
in St Alphonse, with Jean Agarand as bandmaster. In 1908 the family moved to
Hafford SK. Children were: George, Jules, Albert, Alice and Rene.
