  Joshua's burial is unknown, Mount Hope Cemetery is probable, as his son Joshua, Jr. Stevens purchased or paid off the burial plots $60.00 July 6, 1893 {Stephens, Joshua Group 9, Lot 30, Deed Book 4-38, purchased July 6, 1893, Area 258, Cost $60.00}. No actual record of any burial exists for these plots till Joshua, Jr.'s grandson George M. Stevens age 3 is buried in 1912.
