Note: Catherine was born about 1839/40 soon after her father died. I can find no birth,baptism,or death record for her in Buffalo,Langford,or East Eden. The only record of her existance that I can find is a marriage record at St Martins,Langford to Louis Daul and apparently she died in childbirth. Louis re married to Margaret Geiger and went on to have many children. Louis and Catherine,(and then Margaret) lived at the corner of Shirley Road and Sisson Highway. The Dole family has owned the place for many years and it is still in the family. Dole reunions have provided much information including the story of how terrible Margaret felt for Louis when Catherine died and she told her family that she was going to marry him someday,and she did.
