"Thelma Bonetti," 25 yrs., first married at 21 yrs., KS/KY/NY, is keeping house. Living with them is her divorced mother, "Marie Smith," 40 yrs., NY/MO/MO.
  BIOGRAPHY: "Fred James Bonetti is a member of a family which has long lived in Sacramento and has taken its part in the development of the city. He has become prominent in industry as president of the Sacramento Rubber Company. A native of that city, he was born on June 11, 1904, and is a son of Fred and Cora (Clausen) Bonetti. Both parents were likewise born in Sacramento - his father on July 25, 1879 and his mother on December 1, 1885. Fred James Bonetti attended the Goldberg, Fruitridge and Davis grammar schools and Woodland High School. He graduated from Sacramento High School in 1922. He later took courses at Heald's Business College of which he is a graduate. He began his career with the Sacramento Rubber Company, and has held office as its president since 1947. He is also a director of the Merchants National Bank of Sacramento. In addition to his role in the city's business life, he has held responsible posts in municipal service. For eleven years he was a member of the Sacramento County Board of Supervisors, and he served on the County Civil Service Commission for six years. During wartime, he served the cause of Civil Defense in Sacramento's volunteer fire control group. He was too young for active military service in World War I and past draft age in World War 11. Mr. Bonetti's memberships include the Sutter Club, Mount Ralston Fish Planting Club, Sacramento Trade Club and the Trader Club, in which he formerly held the office as head trader. His lodge affiliations include Sunset Parlor #26, Native Sons of the Golden West, the Fraternal Order of Scottish Rite bodies, and he is a member of Ben Ali Temple, Ancient Arabic Order of Nobles of the Mystic Shrine and the Royal Order of Jesters, of which he is past director. He is a communicant of the First English Lutheran Church. Mr. Bonetti's grandfather, John Bonetti, came to Sacramento in 1847. He had recently arrived from Europe and was born on the Swiss-Italian border. He was at one time owner of "Swiss Station" to which he gave its name. At Carmel, California, on August 15, 1925, Fred James Bonetti married Thelma R. Smith, daughter of Jack Jason and Marie Hannah (Eggleston) Smith, who were married on April 15, 1899.   OBIT: "Sacramento Bee"(CA) Wednesday 26 April 1967, p. C-1. EX-SUPERVISOR FRED BONETTI IS FOUND DEAD. Fred J. Bonetti, former Sacramento County supervisor representing the 2nd District, died during the night at his home, 2711 14th St. His son, Fred, Jr., who lives at 2911 25th St., found him dead in his bed this morning. Bonetti, the owner of the Sacramento Rubber Co. at 721 J St. for many years, sold the firm to Karl Kowall last Frbruary. The company, which sells industrial rubber products, rainware and sporting goods, was founded in 1910 by E.H. Gerber. Bonetti became coowner in1923 and sole owner in 1944. He was a county supervisor for 11 years until 1958 and served on the county Civil Service Commission for six years. Bonetti and his wife of 41 yrs., Thelma, were divorced last February. A native of Sacramento, he was born in Sacramento on June 11, 1904, the son of the late Fred Bonetti. His mother, whose maiden name was Cora Mae Clausen, lives at 3118 Carly Way. His father was born on a farm near the present 8th Ave. and Stockton Blv. intersection, the son of John Bonetti who came to Sacramento about 1847. John operated a roadside station where, during the gold rush days, stage coaches stopped in the run between Stockton and Sacramento. Mr. Bonetti was a member of many civic and fraternal organizations, including the Union Lodge of 58, Free and Accepted Masons; Scottish Rite and York Rite Bodies; Ben Ali Temple of the Shrine; Royal Order of Jesters; an Eagles Aerie; Native Sons of the Golden West, the Grandfathers Club of America; and the Sacramento Rotary Club of which he was a former director. He attended the First English Lutheran Church. He was the brother of Dr. E.C. Bonetti of Sacramento.
  Board Pays Honor - The Board of Supervisors today adjourned in memory of Bonetti...Services will be held at 2pm Saturday in the N.G. Culjis & Son Chapel of the Valley. Entombment will be in the East Lawn Mausoleum. The rites will be under the ausipces of the Union Lodges."

Bonetti, Jr., son of Karen(sic) Mae Bonetti; loving brother of Dr. E.C. Bonetti. Also survived by 2 nieces and 3 grandchildren. A native of Sacramento, aged 62 yrs. Friends are invited to attend funeral services Saturday 2 pm at the N.G. Culjis & Son Chapel of the Valley where services are under the auspices of the Union Lodge No. 58 F&AM and Rev. Langeland. Entombment East Lawn Cemetery. Memorials preferred to the Shriners Crippled Childrens Hospital, San Francisco.
