Note: Frank Syler's Obituary THE BRUNSWICKER March 25, 1965 Funeral services for Frank Wellington Syler, 82, retired Brunswick farmer, were held at 2 pm, Saturday, at the Brunswick Baptist Church, the Rev. Jack Hedrick officiating. Burial was in Newcomer Cemetyery, McCurry Funeral Home in charge. Mr. Syler died March 18, at Carroll County Memorial Hospital, Carrollton, after an illness of 2 weeks. The son of William amd Emma Bachtel Syler, he was born Fe. 25, 1883. in Chariton County and spent his entire life in this community. He attended Allega rural school. In 1908 he was married to Edna Mary Williams, who precede him in death in 1922. They were parents of 5 children. In 1930, he was married to Miss Christine Arensmeier of Keytesville, who survives. One son by his first marriage was killed in WWII in Europe. Surviving besides his wife are 1 daughter and 3 sons, Mrs. Guy V. Nolting of Kansas City; Estill Syler of Buckner; Orville D. and Murley Syler of Brunswick; 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Also surviving are 3 brothers and 6 sisters, John Syler of Laramie, Wyo.; Mrs. Myrtle Daly of Alamosa, Colo.; Mrs. Zola Switzer and Mrs. Vileta Sayler of Mendon; Clarence Syler, Earl Syler, Mrs. Florence Richardson, Mrs. Susie Bondy and Mrs. Irene Garvin of Brunswick. Pallbearers were Jerry Garvin, Paul Richardson, Harold Bondy, Kenneth Bondy, Donald Sayler and Charles Richardson.
