 A scan of this record is in the OGT07 Scans folder, Bill & Annie (Schultz), Misc Pictures. It shows that dad (Ed Schultz, Sr.) was in Vicksburg in October of 1934.

Note:   Ed was delivered at home by a midwife who made at least three mistakes on his birth certificate, one of which caused him to expend significant effort to correct in the late 30s.
 1. She recorded the family name (surname) as SCHULZ instead of SCHULTZ.
 2. She recorded his middle name as Gustave instead of the correct August
 3. She entered his mother's name as Marie instead of the correct Mary.
  These errors were probably due to the fact that she did not record the birth until three weeks later (16 Dec 1911) and either could not read her own notes or just did a poor job of transcribing them to the certificate.
  The birth is recorded in Volume 64, Page 342 of the Register of Births, Cook County, IL.
